As I continue my attempts to make self improvements this year, I have stumbled upon quite the gem! I found some inspiration by total accident...

Over the last few years one of my opening spreads in my bullet journal was the Level 10 Life spread. Here you have 10 aspects of your life and you truly rate how satisfied you are with each of them on a scale of 1-10. You write goals to help yourself 'level up' through the year and see the progress you made by the end of the year. Well... here's my experience and what I'll be doing differently this year.

Going to the nail salon to get acrylics or gel nails can be fun, but can also really add up quickly. I had gel nails from June-October 2018 and had 4 sets done. While I absolutely loved them, and got to experiment with shapes, I just couldn't get behind the cost when I thought of it over a years' time. Sometimes you just want to have glam nails without all the fuss.

Summer has always been my absolute favourite season. I have a July birthday, I'm off work (happy teacher!), and the warm, though sometimes scorching, weather is finally around. So I thought that I would share some of my favourite items for the season.

Although summer is here and it's bringing the heat, some of you may be transitioning from warmer to cooler weather, or perhaps your climate is a bit more moderate. Here are some of my transitional weather looks that you may take inspiration from. In Canada we go through half a dozen fake springs before the real one comes and stays. Our temperatures will fluctuate from +16 to -8 in a day, so it can be rather difficult to figure out what to wear.
