Super Bowl 47 | Beyonce & Destiny's Child

Destiny's Child help me out... WHOOOOOT! So I must say that I am not a football fan, I will occasionally watch the Superbowl and I will pick a team based off of name, colour or maybe a player I've actually heard of. No rhyme, or reason. I have been preparing for the Halftime Show all week! I was 100% positive Beyonce (henceforth referred to as Queen Bey) was going to kill it and that Destiny's Child was going to reunite on stage.      Some of the songs Bey sang during her 15 minute show included:"Love On Top," "End Of Time," and "Baby Boy" as well as "Single Ladies" and Destiny's Child songs "Bootylicious" and "Indepdendent Woman Pt. 1. IMO Kelly was fab, and Michelle..well...drab. Was not impressed by her but that aside I was super happy to hear them perform.

     They shared similar outfits just like back in the day, Rubin Singer is the NY based designer who designed their three outfits as well as the 120 backup dancers (apparently this is still 'rumoured'). I liked Bey's and Kelly's look and as usual Michelle was (a bit) more covered up but I didn't like hers as much. I LOVE the lace detail and the snakeskin on Bey's outfit and the flesh tone material that makes the outfit look more risqué than it is. 

     You can see more of the designers work here I was scanning it for his Spring 2013 collection and there are many pieces that I quite like! Gold, Black, Cream, Snakeskin seem to be the tie in throughout the collection. 

     I would love to hear what you thought of the halftime show and who you were rooting for through the Super Bowl (if you even cared lol). I decided pre-game I was going to root for the Ravens and it worked out for me for the most part (getting annoyed that the 49ers were getting so close).
