5/20/2015 0 Comments Travel | Makeup/Toiletries For my hair, I've decided for the first time ever to bring a hot tool with me because I just love the curls I get from it. I can do a nice blow out with the tools my mum has but she doesn't have anything that would give me a good curl. Then I just grabbed some basics, regular hair elastics, small clear ones, bobby pins, couple hair clips along with my sock bun and a couple headbands. My hair is going to be up or braided a lot of the time since I'll be in the pool a lot but for when I'm not, a lot of these just jazz up my hair enough that it doesn't matter what my hair actually looks like. Of course I brought a comb, a teasing brush and some travel shampoo/conditioner/treatment. For my skin, I ended up leaving behind several items because I couldn't get them to fit in my TSA ziplock bag & didn't want to risk having to sacrifice anything at the airport. The one important item I kept with me was my after sun lotion and my new Olay Fresh Effects cleanser/brush. Makeup is always a tough one, last time I went to Florida I thought I was going to film so I brought a tonne, this time I knew I wasn't going to film and I knew that I was going to be wearing it much. But of course, I wanted to have some options just in case aha. I tend to go neutral with shadows and then a variety of lip colours to spice things up. I'd love to know what makeup you MUST have with you when you travel! So leave me a comment below and if there is something you always forget I'd love to hear that too xo General Overview Makeup (not shown: remover wipes & W7 palette)
