Hey Beauty Gals! This is just a swatch-fest and first impressions post on the 28 Neutral Palette I got from BH Cosmetics back at the end of March/beginning of April. I know this has been a lot time coming but I didn't have time to swatch all the colours until now! So my first impression of the palette is that it is pretty decent aha. It has a mix of matte and shimmery shades and most of the colours have a fairly good pay off.
I was hesitant at first to purchase this palette because in photos and even a bit in person it looks like it has a lot of the same shade on the left hand side. I find once swatched you can see the difference but those colours are mostly highlight colours and not colours you could use for your whole lid because they do not have a super high colour pay off (but with a white/skin tone base you may be able to get more out of them). The medium to dark colours all had a good pay off for the most part but some had better pay off from a quick rub, while others I had to rub a fair bit to get enough colour on the swatch for you to see it. As of right now the palette is on sale for $11.37 & is usually $18.95; when I bought it I got it on a sale around $11 so I'd suggest getting it sooner rather than later, as I'm not sure how long the sale will last. I will do a video review of this once I've done some looks with it so look for that in the next couple of weeks and here are the swatches broken down by row. Some of my favourite colours so far are: Row 1: #5, 6; Row 2: #3,5,7; Row 3: #5,6,7; Row 4: #5, 6. xo
