Hello Lovelies! A week or so ago I picked up a few products while I was at Wal Mart, some which I needed and a couple impulses. I picked up Hard Candy's makeup remover wipes, Maybelline's age rewind undereye concealer, a Revlon Lip Butter & a Wet 'n Wild Lash serum that is supposedly thickens and lengthens your natural lashes. Well, we shall see about that... The two products that I had been looking for were the makeup remover and the concealer. I've been looking for a remover wipe for quite some time that wasn't too expensive to replace the cream remover I've been using for the longest time. Mostly because I find when I have a lot of eye makeup on and have to use a lot of the product my eyes can sting a little bit or just feel a little irritated. So I found Take It Off by Hard Candy at Wal Mart for less than $5 so I was sold. My first impression of this remover is definitely positive. The first time I used it was to remove a full face of makeup (for me meaning: blush, bronzer, and eye makeup) and the clothes are a good size so you aren't using the same corner over your whole face and I didn't see much/if any left over makeup. I wasn't sure how my skin was going to react to it using it all over my face but it didn't seem bothered by it so I'm happy! Next was the concealer, I have horrible dark circles under my eyes which I swear I was born with and no matter what I do, I fear they will always be with me. I have a hell of a time finding a match for my skin and recall a few years ago going into MAC to look into a concealer and the girl couldn't find a match and was like "why don't you just mix these two since they match once applied" and I replied "because I don't want to mix concealer, I want one that works the first time." Really why would I want to mix two together? So I've had some luck over the last couple years finding relatively decent matches but it was time to find a new one. I heard a lot about Maybelline's Age Rewind concealer, both good and bad but since there were more positive reviews on it, than the other brand I was looking into I figured I would give it a try myself. First impression....still deciding to be honest. I've used it only once because I was so 'ehh' about it the first time but I'm going to give it another go and then write a review for it to add my two cents aha. I got the "120 Light" Shade because it was more on one yellow side which I needed but still wasn't sure if it was going to be a good match. Now for the two products that I bought on a whim: the Revlon Lip Butter & the Wet 'n Wild Lash Serum. Not too much to say about either at the moment. I picked up the LB in Gum Drop with is a lavender purple colour because I have really been looking for a purple lip product without going too extreme looking. I think its alright but I'll have a more formal opinion in either a video review or a blog review. The Lash Serum is something that needs to be used for several weeks before you notice a difference so I'll be writing updated posts on that product soon. That's all for now :)
Toodles! xo
