Hair | Madison Reed Hair-o-Scope

     How many of you read your horoscopes? (or as my dad and I joke "horrible-scopes") I'm not a firm believer in them but sometimes I find they are incredibly accurate. So why not check out what your Hair-o-Scope is? Also, if you haven't heard of Madison Reed, they're a hair colouring company that has a cool hair dye quiz that helps you find what colours would suit you if you're like me and love to change it up!

     For those of you who don't know, I am a Cancer, and on top of that I'm a July 1st Baby! Which only means something to you if you are Canadian, seeing as it's Canada Day ahaha. One of my cousins' is also a Cancer and my aunt is constantly telling the two of us how some of our traits are 'characteristically Cancer', so clearly there are some qualities that define us through the zodiac. 
     So when it comes to hair why not see what the stars have in store for you and if it's spot on or a shooting star zooming right past you (sorry...I had to!).

     I was pleasantly surprised when I read this, on a good hair day my hair is exactly that, soft and smooth. Do I have good hair days often? No, not necessarily. If you've followed my blog or YouTube for a long time I'm sure you've heard me mention (most likely in the odd Hair video) that I'm TERRIBLE at keeping my hair down, I'm constantly playing with it which means, buns, ponytails, and braids. As I type this I'm on day 2 of keeping my hair down & trying to not touch it! I am slowly training myself out of constantly having it up but it's hard. I've found myself recently reaching for my straightener more often and I always feel like my hair looks amazing after straightening it! Sleek and sexy. It just looks smoother and surprisingly healthier, same goes for when I curl it. I don't often use heat on my hair, but when I do I use a protectant spray so now that I've been reaching for heat more, I won't scorch my hair.
     As for the hair tip, spot on! Again if you've followed me for years, you'll know I've had two different ombre looks! One was a more subtle look (here) when I transitioned out of my red hair phase in university and back to my natural colour, and this past year I went for the L'oreal Feria Wild Ombre (here). So I'm no stranger to ombre and I'll take the personality compliment ;)! I still have some lighter ends and pieces in my hair that were noticeable when I went red again back in May. I'll be transitioning out of the red again soon but you will have to wait and see what I'll turn to next!
