I recently received my BH Cosmetics Blush Palette in the mail from HauteLook and despite a little travel damage I am super excited about this product. I've lusted over it for probably years now and I finally got my hands on it. Here are close ups and swatches of the colours for my first impression! Above Flash, Below Natural Light Close ups with Flash I said in my video that I was having a hard time decided between this original blush palette and BH's new Glamorous palette and in the end I'm so glad I decided on this one it has a range of colour other than light pinks and peaches. Here is a quick comparison photo from my IG (which you should follow if you aren't already ^_^): The colours look a bit different IRL because these are product photos on HauteLook and they are on a computer screen but you get the idea! The pigmentation of these colours is good, there are some that are even more pigmented but all can be built up which I think it better than a blush that is overpowering and you have to find a way to mute it. I like that there are a few brown shades and a range of pinks, a lilac and a nice brick red/orange tinge shade as well. A couple of the lighter colours (one brown and pink in particular) need a few extra swipes in the swatches to really appear but 2/10 is not bad at all since they do still show up. I think these shades will work for a variety of skin tones, some obviously better than others but I look forward to using them on different people to see. They also are not really powdery or chalky which really sucks in a blush, so the texture of all of these are great and there are a couple different finishes but nothing with any chunky glitter because I'm not one for sparkly cheeks aha. I think (as always) this is a great deal for anyone just getting started or someone who wants to expand their blush range without breaking the bank. These two palettes retail for about $17 but frequently go on sale or come in value deals. So I definitely recommend this palette and will be trying to incorporate it into my Fall makeup looks as well as upcoming tutorials! If you have any suggestions/inspiration photos for Fall makeup be sure to #sydneexo on Twitter/Instagram, you can also tag it on Pinterest (or use the hashtag on an image) or of course Facebook! Also I won't be doing as many Halloween tutorials this year but I'm hoping to get up at least 2 or 3; if you have any suggestions for that let me know and I will do my best to incorporate those in my list! Hope you have an awesome day xo
