(Just a heads up this post was suppose to go up end of last year - I just didn't get it up!) Here are some of the goodies that I picked up during the Black Friday deals. I also grabbed two of the Morphe palettes but they haven't come in yet. I had them sent to my mum's place in the US to save on shipping, though I'm itching to get my hands on them. They should be here by Christmas; I'm going to be sharing them in my Haulin' All the Way video! The first item that I decided to get my hands on was the Tarte Skin Twinkle Vol. 1 because I wanted to try a new highlight and figured I deserved something nice. I contemplated getting another Becca Highlight, but I'm always drawn to palettes where I feel I get "more bang" for my money. I also saw a code floating around social media for an upgraded sample pack so obviously I got my hands on that, there were actually three options for the upgrade so I did a wee bit of searching on the different products before settling on this one. I got a similar upgrade last Black Friday as well; I love that I get a small makeup bag that it great for your purse. I won't go into details about all the samples, but if there is one that you are curious about just let me know and I can do a mini review or first impressions post on it! The next place I stopped by on my Cyber Adventure was The Body Shop, which had amazing 3 for $33, 4 for $44, 5 for $55 deal going. I bought 4 items, but because my last item was less than $11, it worked out to be 4 for $40. The Drops of Youth Mask retails for $30, Seaweed Oil-Balancing Mask $23, Seaweed Oil Control Overnight Gel for $22 and the Roller was $10. So I basically only paid for the DoY & roller! I'm looking to update my skin care this year and thought that these would help me out. I do plan on doing an update video and individual reviews when I've been able to give them a test run. If there is one particular product you'd like to know more about, let me know so I can move it up the line. Finally, these were just some random pick ups from Walmart that I wanted to try out. I'm always intrigued by 2-in-1 products so when I saw the Hard Card highlight and contour stick I thought I'd give it a try. I tried the Glamoflauge concealer a few times but the tones never worked for me, but this highlight and contour shade for lighter skin tones looks perfect. As you know if you've been a long time reader, I'm a lipstick lover. I saw these newly packaged Hard Candy Velvet Mousse lipsticks; this shade is Wysteria and looks awesome on. The last item I picked up was the brightener shade of the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. I've owned my shade forever, so I wanted to try the brightening shade, as it seems to always be out of stock when I look for it. Did you get anything for Black Friday? Have you found any die hard products that I should know about? Let me know! Don't forget to hit me up on social media with any of your product recommendations.
