First Impressions:

Char
This was the colour that made me consider not skipping the month because I really wanted a navy polish (since I threw out my OPI Yoga-Ta Get This Blue years and years ago -- long before I knew you could restore a gunky polish). But I was a bit disappointed in this polish, I found it to be very thick and gooey which made it difficult to apply. I haven't had this problem with any of my Julep polishes before (that I can recall) so I'm not sure if this is just a fluke so I may contact Julep & inquire about it. It's described as a navy and in these photos it definitely pulls navy but when you see it in person and in the bottle it does pull a bit more purple, looking like ultramarine. But shade wise I LOOOOVE IT!

Bes
This colour was one reason I was going to pass on because it reminds me of Jessica, another baby blue polish I have from them. I will have to do a side by side comparison but I think that Jessica is bit lighter than this. Bes was a bit streaky after two coats but I think that can be worked on, it wasn't hard to work with so with patiences and maybe another thin coat I can work it out.

Nan
This colour is also gorgeous but at first I wasn't sure what to expect if it was going to be a lighter coral colour or what it turned out to be, a bit more of a burnt orange/umber. I freaking love it. And it applied so well, so smooth and I'm so impressed. It's a unique colour to my collection and it looks great as a summer colour and something that would look great in fall.

I'm glad overall with this months box and I'm looking forward to next months! I have a nautical themed manicure in mind that I can't wait to try out! Now for the good bit ;) I have a code for you lovelies to get you your first Julep Maven box for FREE! Just click here & after doing your style quiz, when you check out enter the code FREEBOX ;) Let me know what style you end up being (or if you choose their new Beauty Box) and don't forget to follow me on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook; also subscribe to my Main & Second channel because I will be having something soon that you may like ;)
