![]() That time of the month, Julep time! Great set of colours this month and again, I wish I could have got it all! Four colours to swatch and three of them are glitter bombs! The bonus polish "Love" was my fave! Colours Roc Solid - Creme finish, vintage military green Glam Rock - Stardust finish, midnight purple & gold stardust (matte glitter) Diamond Theory - Glitter, full-coverage multidimensional copper glitter Since Love was a special bonus it isn't listed on the site, so I can't give you their description of the polish, so mine is - Glitter, pearly pink base, red & gold glitter. L-R: Roc Solid, Glam Rock, Diamond Theory, Love Roc Solid is kind of thin/runny and was difficult to get a perfect coat when I was swatching; you need some patience to use it. Glam rock is gorgeous colour, and a cool textured finish (similar to OPI Sand polishes) but it really gloops onto the brush and makes it a bit difficult to use. I know Julep's matte polishes usually have a thickness to them but this one (probably due to the glitter) is a even thicker; again a bit of patience if you are using this for a manicure and not just swatches. Diamond theory says it's a full-coverage glitter, like hell it is! I was really hoping it would be full-coverage but you would definitely need to wait between coats because otherwise it a glooping mess to use. *sob* I will try to have patience the next time I use it and see if I can indeed make it full-coverage. Love is a sheerer formula but I still love it! I had no real issue applying this, it has two coats in the photo (as do all the polishes) but I think with 3 it could be almost opaque. To be quite honest I'm not 100% in love with these polishes, the colours are great but theres little quirks to all, but Love. I will still use them and I usually get over the quirks of polishes if I really love the colour, otherwise they will be doomed to life in my polish baskets with no love!
