Oh me, oh my! There was a nail polish booth at IMATS and my inner hoarder couldn't control herself....Who could say no to 6/$20 China Glaze and $7 OPI?! I sure couldn't ahaha. Here are some photos of my new babies & my IMATS haul video at the end. Be sure to subscribe to my channel, it makes me happy!
I decided to pick up a 'Natural Nail Strengthener' to test out on my nails since recently I've had a few too many accidents and I've never tried any of OPI's nail treatments before. I also pick up on a whim this cuticle oil which I'm looking forward to trying and reviewing for you guys, I'd love to know if you've tried either and what your thoughts are! But the highlight of all these nail polishes is being reunited with a colour I had many, many years ago and threw out long before I knew about nail polish thinner...Yoga-ta Get This Blue! OMG. I was so pissed off with myself when I found out years after throwing it away it could have been rescued. So I was thrilled when I saw it! Another colour I would have love to come across would be Lincoln Park After Dark or the Midnight one but no such luck! But that's ok because I have this stunning blue. *happy dance*
China Glaze Goodies
So 6/$20 was a deal I could never pass up....OPI was 6/$30 which was tempting but I didn't want to spend anymore money than I needed to. The three colours that popped out to me first are the three on the left of this photo and then I picked up the other three because they jumped out for various reasons.
From left to right: Sweet Hook, Fade into Hue, Rainstorm, Riveting, Afterglow & Zombie Zest. I look forward to wearing all of them but the first one I think I'm going to use is Rainstorm because it looks like a creme polish at first but there are blue micro shimmer/glitter and it looks stunning! Can't wait to see it in daylight...
I'm looking forward to my future manicures, definitely going to start back on my weekly manicure posts so I can share with you how these polishes look and any thoughts I have on them in a review.
Until then, let me know which one is your favourite and if you prefer OPI or China Glaze polishes! Don't forget to watch my IMATS Haul video & check out the Beauty/Fashion sections of my blog for more posts.
