Recap | May, End of a Chapter

     Man oh man, where has time gone?! I can't believe we are almost half way through 2014; it completely blows my mind. But there is nothing I can do it about it but make the most of it.

     So this month saw the end of my placement and of my schooling as a whole. I finished my placement on the 9th and on my last day one of my students gave me a customized hand painted mug. I was stunned when I first opened it because it had makeup and nail polish painted on it, but it took me a minute to realize it was hand painted; and there was a good luck in England message on the bottom. I was definitely overwhelmed because makeup + mugs are two of my favourite things, so I teared up a bit and gave her a bit hug! My Mentor Teacher got me a leather professional folder which I love. 
     After finishing my placement I had one big assignment left of my program which was a professional portfolio which was definitely a pain and overwhelming but I got a great mark after my exit interview with my course director so it wasn't so bad. And to wrap up everything in my program I had a two day conference on campus (which was a truly painful experience aha) and I WAS DONE! 
     Then I honestly didn't know what to do with myself aha. I had all this time and I didn't know what to do with it. I did start to reread the Harry Potter series because it's my favourite and it's been years since I've read them start to finish. I did have a few days where I just was not myself, so I had a bit of a break from the internet and just read my books and relaxed. I also had a chance to start planning for my holiday to my mom's in Florida. Got in some family time at the end of the month for my cousin's 35th birthday. 
     So a lot happened and didn't happened this month aha, first half was hectic, second half was really plain and empty. But I'm okay with that. Just realized how short this post was but that's okay; I didn't do much online this month because of wrapping up school, but June will be different!
