CARIBANA!

Hello Lovelies!
     So yesterday was the 44th annual Caribana Parade (although now it is called Caribbean Carnival). Although my friends thought I was a veteran this was actually my first time going to see it. I was actually suppose to be in it this year with one of my besties but unfortunately the timing of the modelling/fitting for costumes was the same day as my grandmother's funeral and clearly my priorities were with her. And the second shot I had at discounts on the costume I had work and only a days notice. 

     But I enjoyed watching it and meeting up with my girl anyways. My campus had a bus take us down to the parade and we broke off into our own groups and I was lucky enough to get through the gate and actually walk amongst the parade. That is when I finally (after lots of searching, phone calls and texts) found my girl in her lovely fairy costume and walked with her back to her float and danced! I have lots of photos and camera footage on my phone so I'm going to be doing a Caribana Video on my channel probably tomorrow for you guys incase you didn't get to go or didn't even know about it!
