Florida NOTD | Mani/Pedi with Mum

     As per tradition, whenever my mum and I get together (which is about once every 1-2yrs) we go for a mother/daughter manicure & pedicure. We've gone together since I was about 6 years old and it's something I will forever do with her...

     Being on vacation I wanted to pick some bright colours that would look great with a tan so I went with a half-moon mani on my hands in the two best colours for a tan: coral and white, and went with a pool teal colour.

     My mom is a very simple person when it comes to her nails, it's French Mani or French Mani ahaha. She's a bit more adventurous when it comes to her toes (she went with a great Lilac colour from OPI) but she was a little nervous when I described the half-moon manicure but in the end (as is usually the case) she loved it! What's funnier though is that the gentleman doing my nails (hubby in the duo who runs the place) didn't know what I was talking about so his wife saved the day and did it for me ahaha. 
     Despite being in the pool every day both lasted long time, nails chipped by the time I got home but my toes are surviving pretty well. 

     Do your pedicures last a significantly long time? Or am I just weird? ahaha I can keep toe polish on significantly longer than any manicure. About to switch up my pedicure, what are some of YOUR go to summer colours? I'd love to know!
