Oh me, oh my! This outfit was for the teaching interview I had at my school on April 1st. It brought me nothing but good luck, as I landed the job during the interview. I've wanted to showcase more "office wear" or "interview outfits" for ages but since they aren't something I do all that often, I usually forget; but here it is!
Earlier this month I was invited to MONDOR's Toronto Fashion Week show, which was very exciting for me. MONDOR wasn't a brand a was familiar with beforehand, but after seeing their runway, it's definitely one I'd like to see more of.
I have a small portion of my closet that I tend to forget that I own because I have labelled it "Work Clothes" and seeing as I'm not teaching at the moment I don't gravitate towards it. This outfit was put together around a pair of work pants I bought from JOE Fresh and is their riding pant. I loved them so much I have them in grey and navy!
The holidays have come and gone, but some of these casual to glam outfits can work for any type of occasion. I cover it all with these two lookbooks that I made for Christmas and New Years Eve. Let me know which look was your favourite from each video in the comments below xo
Everyone loves to be comfortable, and most girls love to "borrow" clothes from their boyfriends. Well let's just say I have now acquired a few new pieces to my wardrobe at the expensive of my other half. He doesn't presently fit in them so I've decided to take custody until he does and then we shall share...who am I kidding...he'll never have these back!
*cue evil laugh*
This last Fashion Trends post is going to talk about some of the go-to items for this season. A few have been touched on in my previous posts which you can read here and here but these outfits each consist of two must have items. Let me know in the comments which one(s) are your favourite!
So I've already shared with you 3 of the easiest Fall Colours to wear here, but now it's time to talk about some of the trendiest patterns and prints for the season. I'll also highlight a couple other trends that feature in these outfits that are easy to slip into your Fall style.
Twice a year the Powers That Be tell us what is "in fashion" for the upcoming season, I'm not big on following fashion trends, but this Fall there were several I already had in my closet so I thought that I'd share them with you. Trends don't always have to be expensive one-time pieces, this first instalment is on 3 hot colours for the season and I KNOW you have them!
So last Friday I was up at the crack of dawn (quite literally - it was gross) to get ready for a shoot downtown. This shoot was to showcase my friend Lesley's designs. I've had the pleasure of wearing four of the pieces displayed in the shoot and got to see a brand new piece made for the shoot. But here's what I wore as MUA ;)
So I know the whole point of online shopping is the not having to worry about the store closing for the night, but I really think that for my sake they should be on lockdown after 11pm...because this happens when it doesn't! HAUL TIME BABY!
