12/3/2015 0 Comments Tutorial | World AIDS Day For the look, I wanted to keep everything very simple and really let the lips pop. So it was a fresh face with no blush or highlight, just a touch of contour to add some colour and dimension into my face. With my eyes, I went as close to nothing as possible, slight wash of colour on the lid, with an ever so slightly darker crease and a pop of shimmer in the tear duct to brighten the eye. You could totally rock a wing with this look as well, and I was planning on that, but ended up liking this better. Then of course the pop of red! Also can we just ignore my lion mane...my hair was in a stroppy mood aha! To quote the MAC AIDS Fund site (though you can read more here) "...the M·A·C AIDS Fund in 1994, in a grass roots effort to make a difference in the world with a community outreach for HIV/AIDS. ...VIVA GLAM spokespeople are provocative, alternative and influential and reflect diverse communities. They are heroes we look up to for their personal triumphs; people who have invented themselves and people who created movements." Since I don't own any of the VIVA Glam lippies (though I've lusted over a few) I figured a red lip was the next best thing. Also, 100% of the proceeds of a Viva Glam lipstick goes to the fund and you can see what the purchase of each helps to buy. Also, in case you haven't heard who the latest Viva Glam collab is with...it's Ariana Grande! The colour is very dark and vampy; I look forward to seeing swatches! Let me know in the comments below if you own any (or several) of the Viva Glam lipsticks or lipglasses and what your favourite colour is!
