9/16/2012 3 Comments Hair | New Cut & ColourHello Beautifuls! A couple weeks ago I underwent a new hair transformation but due to timing I couldn't post the video or write my blog post about it, but I can now! This post is just going to show some before and after photos, there really isn't much else to add. For the last two and a half years I have been some form of red head and as much as I loved it and waited years and years to be able to do it (I've wanted to dye my hair red since I was about 10? 12 maybe?) I felt it was time to go back to my natural colour! My last hair transformation was to read hair with a blonde underlayer and everyone loved it. It was amazing, so really who wouldn't LOL, I was always getting compliments on my hair and I was always easy to spot in the crowd. This is what it looked like when it was first dyed. This was August 2011 Over time the burgundy faded to a brighter red and then to ginger which I totally didn't mind, the blonde stayed just as vibrant but with a lot of root growth as the months wore on. This was in January 2012 April 2012 I was going to ombré my hair this time round because I've seen some really awesome photos of it and thought it would be a nice way to transition back to my natural colour but to also keep the blonde that I've gotten kind of used to over the last year but that isn't exactly what happened. Here are some shots of me while at the salon through the process! My BEFORE hair at the salon You can see here that my hair is ombréd in parts but it is not the 'severe' ombre that everyone has been doing over the last year. I also went in for a hair cut after my colour because as much as my at home trims were helping I needed to get a professional cut. I took off about 3 inches, although you would never have really noticed because my hair is still very long haha. THAT is my new hair! Although it's not the ombré I wanted I still love it and I'm thinking about maybe doing the ombré I wanted down the road, or maybe I'll wait for something else to come along ;) xo
