So today at work I had a costumer come up to me at cash with what I believe to be every bright coloured item we had available in our store. I've had costumers bring me huge piles of clothes before so I didn't think there was anything special about her pile until she told me it was for a movie scene. I instantly needed to know more information. So I asked if it was a local film or something on a larger scale. She replied it was a rave scene for a movie Rob Pattinson was filming all around Toronto/GTA. She told me the name of the movie (Cosmopolis? -- something like that-- yes that's it, I just IMDb'd it) and that its going to be released in the new year. I knew she was the stylist and I was telling her how every female item she brought is something I'd wear because I'm into the bright colours and she agreed they were nice (she wasn't extremely chatty which is sad). If I had of been thinking I should have asked if they did a casting call for extras because I'd have loved to be in that scene ahaha. But it kind of made me sad talking to her about the movie (and no it's not because I'm a fan of Rob whose last name she didn't even know at first or say properly-- tsk tskk) but because I used to be in acting. But I had to cast the idea aside in high school because school was a bigger priority for me and I wouldn't say I regret it completely but I wasn't fully established in that realm yet (I was on a manager hunt) so it was a better time to stop then getting super involved and then dropping. I would LOVE to have the opportunity to get back into that sphere and into modelling (that welcomes short girls haha-- like commercial print).
Well I'll keep dreaming and get back to my essay. *sigh* Maybe one day...
