11/17/2014 0 Comments Update | Change of Plans Exactly 3 months ago tomorrow I jumped on a plane for England for my first teaching job, and boy was I excited. Nervous as hell, but excited for the journey that lay ahead, but there was some turbulence. I met some amazing people and did have some amazing students but unfortunately I had some issues with my stress and anxiety and had to leave work. In the years I've had my anxiety I've never had it cause me so many problems and it was just too difficult to manage over here. So until mid-Decemeber I've moved out of my little London borough up North to stay with family and enjoy my remaining time in England before my winter wonderland return to Canada.
I will now be able to come back to blogging and filming full-time! Which I'm so happy about, it really hurt to have to put everything on hold while I was working and I'm hoping that this time I have off leading up to coming home and for a time after I come back home that I can give it my 100% effort and attention. I've truly missed it; and it's made me realize just how much I want to continue to do it. There have been times in the last 3.5 years that it's felt much more of a labour than a love but not being able to do it in my spare time was a killer and really showed me just how large a part it plays in my life. I'm hoping to tailor the content and come up with some new ideas for filming and blog posts. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them, I'm also hoping to branch out and make some more blogger friends so if you would be interested in collaborating just shoot me an email or reach out to me on my social media! xo
