Recap | March, The Madness

     This year is already starting to fly by which is a totally scary thought. As much as I wanted school to come to an end I did not expect it to come so soon. Here were some of the goings-on this month!

     Another month gone and I'm proud to say I *almost* finished those 30 day challenges. Unfortunately I had to stop with 3 days left because I have reinjured my knee and have been having back spasms for the past couple days -- tres bummer. I was doing well to get back on track and then I got adventurous and started to do wider stance/sumo squats and with the higher counts/reps my left knee couldn't take it. I was even wearing both my braces on my knees but apparently that did nothing to help... grr... So both knees are sore but I think my left knee may have actually sustained another strain *sob*, I'm in similar pain to what I experienced after damaging it two years ago. Fingers crossed it doesn't persist.

     This month saw the closure of my classes and I'm gearing up for my block, which I'm proud to say is pretty much planned (and believe me, that's a big deal haha). I wrapped up a lot of assignments this month, so almost every week I was working on something. A few one pagers and then this past week (March 31st) I handed in my final assignment for school (minus my professional portfolio) and it was to plan a whole unit, lessons, activities, and a big culminating task and the topic was something I knew nothing about but my partner thought it would be good. Man, it took me all of last weekend to do because I had to teach it to myself before I could write a look lesson plan for my sections but I was so happy to hand it in and do the presentation section of it. I've done really well in that class, the last assignment I did with my partner we got perfect so (fingers crossed) hopefully we can pull that off again (or a near perfect, I can deal with that). Then I found out I finished with a 90 in my geography class which I was pretty stoked for! 

     I had March Break this month (not that I went anywhere) but I did have an interview with one of the agencies I'll be working with, and just last weekend I had another. With the first, they liked me and extended an offer to work with them after my interview and I may fly out to England for a week in the summer with them to interview with jobs in the classroom, it's quite an intense week but I'm so excited if I get the chance I'd take it! Interviews for actual jobs (and not just with agencies) start in April and will run until July, I already have dates set through April/May for some interviews so I'm excited and nervous for those! 

     My new placement is going great, taught my first lesson just before March Break and a few since and I'm really getting along with my students and my MT and I are great. Some of my friends have been having a more difficult time with their MTs so I'm not really allowed to comment anymore about mine around them because they give me dirty looks ahaha. 

     As for blogging and filming, I've planned videos for all of April and May and I'm hoping that the next few days will allow me to stock pile some videos and I'm hoping to upload 2x a week and to get content on here more frequently. I'll have a weekly Fashion Post for my Placement outfits and hopefully the weather will continue to warm up and I'll be able to have a bit more variety in my attire instead of bundling up or wearing boots all the time!
