Recap | February 2015

     I cannot believe it's already March...I swear it was just Christmas? This month hasn't been overly exciting but I do have some hopeful thinking about a certain aspect of my life.

     This month made me realize that as much as I needed time away from teaching a bit after my experience in England, I am in need of a job and only want to do it in teaching. I've been looking for tutoring gigs but not overly successful in finding any that I can do, which is frustrating, and so I've contemplated going back into retail but don't really know where I want to go. I do have a long shot chance at a teaching position but I think that's more wishful thinking than anything. But seeing the opportunity definitely came at a time that I needed some encouragement so it's perked me up a bit.
     I've found being at home 24/7 quite difficult and at times, I wish I was back in school just so I have a reason to get out of the house and have something to do. Because I've been feeling a bit "off" it's been hard to keep up with blogging. I've made sure to keep uploading on my channel because I really want my channel to expand this year, so I can't exactly go on a hiatus but when I'm not doing stuff for that I feel quite anti-tech and find myself looking for things to do around my house to fill time. That has been productive because I've made a huge dent in reorganizing my basement, which is something my dad and I have been trying to do for ages. 
     Also, for the umpteenth time I've decided it's time to work out and get my ish together and I'm determined this time, especially since I have the time. But you will see more of that in coming weeks. 
     Reconnected with one of my best friends in high school which has been amazing and almost means I've seen a few other old friends as a result. We've been separated for about 5 years because of school and both living in new cities during that time, but I'm so glad we've got back together. It's great to reconnect and build off of what we had before :)
