A Few Bumps Along the Way

Hello Lovelies!
     I will now be able to write more frequently because I'M DONE EXAMS! *insert happy screams here* I finished my last exam Thursday night and I don't want to jinx it but I think it went well. But in that class you never know what you will get; the marking seems pretty crazy ahaha. I honestly don't care anymore because the stress of the semester is gone and I am able to do exactly what I want, sleep and relax.  

     Yesterday was one hell of a day, let me tell you. First of all we (my boyfriend and myself) were suppose to meet at the airport for 8am. I didn't go to bed until about 4am because I was packing and just doing a bunch of things, and thought to myself, oh getting up shouldn't be a problem, and I set up a tonne of alarms. Well guess what. IT DIDN'T WORK! Oh no no no, that would just be too great ahaha! I woke up at 8:15 and two minutes later my bf was on the other line saying "where are you?" So I finished packing and got everything together TOP SPEED. Made it just a few minutes after 9 and as I met up with the boy the service lady was like "they boarded at 9 you probably won't make it" but I don't take no for an answer and she said it wasn't 100% that we would make it but we were obviously going to try.
     SO! we got through customs pretty quick (less than 10 minutes) then we put our bags on the belt, ran to security and no lie, as SOON as we got out of security there was an announcement for "final boarding call" for our flight. We ran like HELL! I had to actually take my shoes off because they were not meant for running and I was dying. Got there and the girl was like "don't worry you've made it!" I was so happy because there wasn't another flight to Tampa for another day at least I think, which may not sound like a lot but we would have had to pay again which is NOT COOL at all. 
     But the drama doesn't stop there, oh no sir-ee. We arrived in Tampa but our luggage did not. That has only happened to me once and I was about 10 and my mother and I were in the Bahamas at the old Club Med. But we bought me a bathing suit from the little shop and I was quite content. The bags arrived later that night. So I wasn't too worried when we got to Tampa and our bags didn't because we were literally the last people to get to the flight so we weren't surprised. There was a very nice girl at the carousel who took us back to the desk to get everything sorted out and verified and we were told it would come in on the next flight it could so we were confident we would have in a day or two. We found my step-dad and we were on our way to my mom's place!
     Got here and spent the day watching TV, relaxing on the couch and eating whatever we felt like! Eventually Kwabena and I had fallen asleep on the couch and decided it was time to sleep and we both had amazing sleeps. Woke up this morning and my boy made me bacon and eggs which was yummers (even though he tried to convince me that I should have made it for him LOL). Then we decided to go out to a store to get a few pieces of clothes so that we could change because we obviously were stuck in the same clothes as yesterday. As soon as we finished buying the clothes and heading to a YogurtLand (which is AMAZING) and we get a call from WestJet that our luggage is on its way (YIPPEE!!!) So now I have a few new pieces of clothing, some new lipglosses, and this amazing box of teas (RachhLoves would be proud!).
     Spent the rest of the afternoon taking a walk around the beach, picking up some DVDs and a Wii game (from RedBox which is the smartest idea ever) and guess what? MORE relaxing! My step-dad, boyfriend and their neighbour went finishing tonight and the boy caught lots of fish and I am very proud of him.
     We've started a fire and are all about to curl up on the couch and watch a movie! Good night y'all! I will be uploading more footage for my Vlogmas videos starting tomorrow. Don't think they will be daily but I promise they will be uploaded !
