Twice a year the Powers That Be tell us what is "in fashion" for the upcoming season, I'm not big on following fashion trends, but this Fall there were several I already had in my closet so I thought that I'd share them with you. Trends don't always have to be expensive one-time pieces, this first instalment is on 3 hot colours for the season and I KNOW you have them!
So last Friday I was up at the crack of dawn (quite literally - it was gross) to get ready for a shoot downtown. This shoot was to showcase my friend Lesley's designs. I've had the pleasure of wearing four of the pieces displayed in the shoot and got to see a brand new piece made for the shoot. But here's what I wore as MUA ;)
So I know the whole point of online shopping is the not having to worry about the store closing for the night, but I really think that for my sake they should be on lockdown after 11pm...because this happens when it doesn't! HAUL TIME BABY!
If you watch my YouTube or follow my IG you'll know that last Friday I was in a fashion show in Toronto, modelling my friend Lesley's work. So we decided to do an OOTD post for me the night of the dress rehearsal and despite not wanting Autumn anywhere near me, I did not look summery at ALL - the outfit reflected the weather.
So I've been on an unofficial "no-buy" for quite some time and last weekend I decided to go pickup TWO ITEMS from the mall...and left with a whole lot more. #noregrets #sorrynotsorry Be sure to tell me which fashion item is your favourite! I've already worn a couple outfits and I LOVE them! I'll have a beauty post for the other items xo
I know I posted this video in my Packing Light post but I did want to bring attention to it again incase you didn't read it and still wanted to see some of the looks I wore while on my holiday in April!
As you guys know if you follow my YouTube or social media, I was away in Florida for a couple weeks visiting my mum and was challenged to pack everything in a carry on. I accepted and triumphed! So if you're a chronic over packer like me, rejoice! there is hope! xo
Just over a week ago I went out to dinner and decided on a look that is a bit outside of my regular dinner attire and believe me, I LOVED IT. Totally going to push my fashion boundaries this year and see what I come up with xo
So we all have various plans for Valentine's Day, whether it be staying at home, alone, with chocolate & a chick-flick, out with your Gal-entine's, or out with your significant other, and I've got outfits for them all! Don't forget to tell me which one is your favourite and what you'll be sporting this weekend xo
